* Were are the best drivers around because we are quick and alert.

* DISPLAY "P" PLATES after passing your test, They'll show other drivers that your are new on the road.

* TAKE A PASS PLUS COURSE, it provides extra supervised training (i.e. on motorways) to build up your confidence.

* KEEP YOUR SPEED DOWN, no-one can drive too fast and always get away with it.

* DON'T TAKE RISKS to impress your friends, it might seem very tempting, but you could kill yourself and your mates.

* RECOGNISE YOUR OWN LIMITATIONS, experience makes everyone a better driver and that only comes with time.

* DO NOT OVERCROWD YOUR CAR, too many friends may distract you.

* AVOID MOBILE PHONE USE WHEN DRIVING, pull over and stop in a safe, convenient and legal position. Then answer your mobile.

* DON'T DRINK and DRIVE, even one drink can mean the difference between life or death.
